SheaTree Ghana limited is a soft commodity trading company with expertise in the production and export of shea butter and shea nuts in large volumes. Our trade partners span cosmetics, confectionery, and international trading companies.

Vision

To be the largest industrial supplier of raw unrefined shea butter & shea nuts from the West African sub-region.

Mission

To continually provide our partners & buyers with high quality and ethically sourced shea nuts & butter through fair trade & community women empowerment projects.

Established by a team of young & vibrant Ghanaian entrepreneurs from different cultural and educational backgrounds with a belief in fair trade, women empowerment, environmental protection, preventing child labour, and giving back to the communities in which it operates.

For us, the Shea Tree (also known Butyrospermum parkii or Vitellaria Paradoxa) does not only signify a plant, which provides us with nutritional, medicinal, and economic opportunities but one that gives us inspiration to continually protect the environment while providing a livelihood for the myriad of women we work with and their families.

Kwame Oduro

Has more than 10 years cumulative work experience spanning International Trade, New Product Development, Brand Management, Advertising and part time crop farming.
Aside local Ghanaian languages, speaks fluent English & Intermediate French. A member of the CIM - UK (Chartered Institute of Marketing - UK) & KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology) Alumnus.

An avid traveller on a quest to visit all 7 continents and at least travel to every single African Country. Progress made so far… 5 continents visited out of 7, 15 from 54 African countries, and a total of 28 countries visited to date.

Kwame is a sports & adrenaline enthusiast with a passion for swimming, jet-skiing, kayaking, boxing, road trips & exploring tourism destinations within rural & urban Ghana.

Nana Akua Aboagye-Adjei

Nana Akua Aboagye-Adjei holds a Specialist Masters in Energy, Trade and Finance from Cass Business School, City of London UK and a degree in Economics and Finance from Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma, USA. She is also an alumnus of Achimota Secondary School.
She has over ten years’ working experience in Finance and Oil & Gas both internationally and locally. She worked with BNP Paribas, New York as a Hedge Fund Credit Analyst, and Merrill Lynch and CitiGroup in their Wealth Management Departments.

She later joined the National Petroleum Authority, NPA, Accra briefly as a Research Analyst. She currently works for an Oil and Gas Company.

Nana Akua is an active member of Rotary Club of Accra-Legon and volunteers her time and resources with Akropong School of the Blind.

Shamsudeen Alhassan

Shamsudeen Alhassan affectionately called Shams and in - charge of field operations. Area of expertise includes social and developmental research, development administration and rural development.
His life-long commitment to improving lives and ability to connect with people has contributed immensely to the success of our operational base. Previously a business owner in the Shea industry, Shams comes with extensive experience with the needed operational framework and vision.

A sports junkie, Shams is fan of Chelsea Football Club and frustrated fan of Miami Heat basketball team. His other interests are Drag Racing, Boxing and movies.

He Holds a BA in Development Administration from the University for Development Studies in Ghana and also a member of the UDS Alumni.

Bright Andoh

Bright has built a wealth of experience spanning more than nine (9) years in Accounting & Financial Management. He started his career with Unilever Ghana, as an Assistant Fixed Asset Accountant and later Joined Nndlovu & Associates Ltd.

Between 2010 and 2017, Bright has worked in various capacities in the Finance field as a Financial Management Analyst, Tax Analyst and Business Development in the Media and Agricultural Industries.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration, (Accounting Option) from the Central University (Ghana) and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from Coventry University (UK). He is also a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, USA.

Bright is a football fanatic and enjoys watching football with friends and also a passionate salsa dancer.
